Network/System Requirements:

  • TCP/IP configured
  • Port 443 (HTTPS), Port 80 (HTTP), or Port 21 (FTP) must be open for automatic transmission data
  • Hardware: Desktop computer system
  • Operating System: Windows 2000/XP
  • Internet connected browser with a minimum of 100MB NIC
  • Network Card: 100MB or higher
  • RAM: 256MB or higher
  • System must be powered on all the time
  • Does not have to be a dedicated system

Data collection agent

  • A Data Collector Agent (DCA) software application is installed on a non-dedicated server at the client site
  • The software collects printer/copier/MFP metrics from the network on a regular basis (every half hour, every hour – customizable) and transmitted to PageChex server
  • You can then view the information via the web with a login and password
  • Information is stored in an SQL database
  • This means data is always retained, you will never lose the data
  • Makes historical trending possible
